The AECIT 2022 International Congress aims to give continuity to a consolidated and highly relevant scientific event that every two years facilitates the meeting of academics and researchers, those responsible for planning and public management, and tourism entrepreneurs. Specifically, the objectives of the event are as follows:

To create a forum for national and international professionals and researchers interested in tourism issues to establish synergies between the scientific academic world, those responsible for public management and the business sector.
To facilitate the updating of knowledge on aspects of tourism planning and management.
To learn about different models of management and exploitation of tourist resources.
To promote meetings and collaboration between the academic scientific sector and the business world.
Strengthen contacts between institutions and research teams interested in producing reports and developing projects for the improvement of tourism competitiveness.
To highlight the scientific, economic, heritage and tourism potential of the city and the province of Ourense as an international benchmark in tourism, especially thermalism, establishing synergies with key institutions in our province.
Stimulate links with third countries in the field of tourism research, especially with European and Latin American countries.
